HELP!!! Unblock Samsung X640??

Hi,
Can anyone help!!! I have bought a Samsung X640 off ebay (not cheap either) and when I have tried to put my sim into it, it comes up with my provider and appears to be normal but when I go to make a call or when someone tries to call me it is saying that the phone has been BLOCKED.
It isn't my Sim, because if I put it in my friends phone, it works fine.
Is there something I can do, I have heard of many different terms but not sure what they all are eg. Smart Unlocker, Firmware etc. Thanks!! :>)

put the sim card away and than put this code #*7337# in,the x640 will reboot and after it, it will be for any card ;)

sorry, i'm really bad with this...
i tried what you sugest. after you type the code.. what do you do? press green? nothing happens! my phone does not restart! did it work for any of you?

When I start up the phone with the sim card out, I enter the code that you said, but then what do I press? I have tried a few buttons but none of them do anything.
